Hamilton comes to MECHS

The singing club at MECHS is currently working on a production of select songs from “Hamilton”. The show is being sponsored by Mrs.Black, but the idea was sparked by junior Willow Spencer. She was inspired to have a Hamilton production because “It’s a good musical, fun, historical, and a great way to learn.”

Auditions are still taking place, and results will be published soon. The show is set to take place Spring 2026, and it will include famous songs from Hamilton, including “Alexander Hamilton”, “My Shot”, “The Schuyler Sisters”, and “Wait for It”.

Ariel is a 10th grader at MECHS and Photography Editor. She is in her third year of Journalism and her second year on the editing staff. She has done journalism since middle school, and over the years, she found photography to be her favorite part of making the yearbook. In her free time, she enjoys reading and making tiny pieces of origami.
